CNE Obtained Support From the UNEST The National Commission for Elections (CNE) on Monday (22/08/2011), through its Plenary, met the 11 members of the United Nations Volunteers (UNVs) Team under the UNEST (United Nation Electoral Support Team) coming to introduce themselves in CNE’s Office at Kintál Boot. read more CNE will recruit 13 new staff by June By June this year, CNE will complete the recruitment of 13 new staff. The selection process for the recruitment of CNE’s new staff members was conducted in November last year. Those candidates were required to participate in a written test and interview according to the level and grade chosen by them. read more Duarte Tilman Soares Substitui Deolindo dos Santos Deolindo dos Santos is no longer a CNE Commissioner because he has been replaced by Duarte Tilman Soares in accordance with Law No. 5/2006, Section 1.4 which states that if there is a absence in the CNE then the said person must be replaced within 30 days from the date of the incident, and if a replacement is unavailable, then another member must be appointed as a substitute in accordance with the applicable provisions. read more President of CNE hands over certificates to CNE Staffs On 18 February 2011, a total of CNE 23 staff members who participated in the second phase of training given by BRIDGE received their certificates.
